From our experience as both in-house staff members and professional consultants, our expertise has been beneficial to academic institutions and non-profit organizations in the development and implementation of their milestone events and programs. Sometimes we may provide advice and tips for an event that is already in-process, other times, we are asked to provide the direction and management of the project - from planning through execution.
Our anniversary sessions will be individually tailored to your particular needs and requests. We will review your organization's materials prior to our meeting, provide Expert Events professional staff to work with your committees and staff for the consultation to determine your particular needs, and provide a written report following the seminar with a thorough overview of your program needs for planning and budget recommendations.

Planning for Your Event
Expert Events will meet with your board and internal planners to help you get started. Our experience in working with milestone events and programs can provide you with answers to some of the myriad questions: • Should we have an anniversary committee and what should its composition be? • What are the internal and external goals for our anniversary? • What types of programs and events best fulfill our objectives? • How do we combine our marketing and/or fund raising efforts with the celebration? • How do we develop a long- and short-term timeline? • What is a reasonable budget for the program we envision?
Short-Term Seminars
Planning for Your Event Expert Events can review your program and identify areas in need of special attention and those on track, both budgetary and programmatically.
Working with your staff and/or volunteers, we can develop the full-scope staffing needs for the event and design a training program. Depending on the aspects of your event, we can provide guidance on the handling of speakers and VIPs or celebrities; review and offer suggestions on final timelines, flowcharts, and budgets; address public, media or government relations issues; and, answer general questions your staff, board, or volunteers may have as they approach the event implementation stage.
Our consultation services can provide guidance or direction to enhance an already planned program and can serve to encourage the anniversary planners of their activities thus far, providing confidence as they move forward.
